It's Funny

It’s funny the way life sings
Changes the wind, hard then slow
Then we’re drawn to do the things
We should have done long ago

To take the risk, follow a dream
Take in all life has to teach
To do the things that could seam
Far beyond our longest reach

In sought after words, like those of love
We take a chance, though worlds apart
Hold our breath and prayer above
And declare all that is in our heart

Then as the years go by, by your side
The house of joy, our dreams did soar
We watch in arms, the kids with pride
And say I couldn’t have wished for more
